LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players and is frequently compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular player. James was awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs and two Olympic medals. James scored more points during the playoffs, has had the second highest number of career points, and ranks seventh among career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until 2018. James has been chosen for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have scored 10,000+ points in rebounds, assists, and points throughout his career. He will be the first to do so in 2022. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. The national media praised James as a possible NBA star. As a prep to pro his dream, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick during the NBA draft in 2003. Being the NBA rookie of the year 2004, he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league, winning the NBA MVP awards in 2009 and 2010. James did not win a title with Cleveland and left the city with the status of an "free agent" in 2010. The move was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
