Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello, I'm Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her amazing husband JP and her family in Orange County California. Henry is a happy and go-lucky dad. My Instagram account, @annephung, is where most people follow me. I post about my life in general, positive and negative. My parents brought my family to America in the year 1990, at which point I was just a year old. I would not be able to share my story to you now if my parents didn't work hard and make sacrifices. My parents inspired me and helped me become successful. My plan of life was: I would study at university, land work in a corporate then marry, and purchase the house. My life that I planned for me did not turn out. The year 2013 brought me to the realization that I disliked my corporate position. Even though the compensation and the status was great, I didn't feel like it fulfilled me. In reality, I thought I was simply doing nothing but wasting time. My love of fitness and my love of socializing with people helped me discover my dream job as a personal trainer. My business started in 2014, and I'll be celebrating seven years of growth in 2021. It's rare to meet an Asian woman working in this field. As an instructor, my aim is to inspire people to live a healthier and happy life by creating sustainable lifestyles that cater to the individual's goals and needs. In addition, I strive in empowering others to achieve their dreams and goals and achieve anything they wish to do. When my work began to take off, I was struck by one of the biggest losses in my entire life to datein the death of my Mom. The battle she fought for eight years with the disease has ended and she is now in Heaven. She will always remain in my thoughts and mind. The lessons of life can be hidden from us however they are highly beneficial. My loss has impacted my life in several ways. I truly believe that her death gave me the chance to start an entirely new chapter. Her passing in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was an opportunity for her to begin an entirely new chapter. For me, it was my second chance to lead a fulfilled life. At the age of 30 I am awestruck by the feeling that I am alive and living. I'm not feeling like I just exist anymore. In sharing my story, I hope that my words will resonate with you. It is my wish that my words can help you realize that you're never truly alone. You have the ability to achieve anything that your heart desires. It is my prayer that you live life to the highest level and not have regrets in the final hours of your life. The death of a person is the only certainty in the world.
