Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English performer and song writer who goes by the moniker Jessie J. Jessie has gained notoriety early due to her unusual music style that is a blend of soul, hip-hop, pop and electropop. Her work has earned her numerous awards and nominations, like the 2011 'Critics Choice Brit Awards' and "BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her professional career started at the young age of 11 after she got a role in 'Whistle Down the Wind,' one of the musicals written that was written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.
