Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's father and mother Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. Being the youngest of her siblings she was the one who was most spoilt from her family. The father of her Gregory was a soldier to the Nigerian Army for quite some period of time. Ogunbowale is from a vivacious family. Her mother Yolanda and brother Dare both played softball while at DePaul. Her aunt played volleyball for UAPB as well as Endia plays volleyball on the team at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale's name was on the honour roll at her high school for three consecutive years. The school also recognized her for her career in high-school, including various awards. Arike has graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in her hometown. When she was at school, she played three years of varsity football. Ogunbowale's extraordinary abilities helped her school capturing stunning victories numerous times. She has played in 7 appearances in the league and had 1,477 rebounds as well as 1,477 points throughout her playing career. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships where she won Gold Medals. On July 7 2014 she was selected to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team following her debut year as a collegiate player. Kobe Bryant himself congratulated Ogunbowale for the NCCA Tournament big shot. Ogunbowale, a basketball player in her early teens, is a player who has proven to be an excellent player. Arike Ogunbowale's net worth according to a credible source, is estimated at $5 million.
