Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's father and mother Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. Being the youngest of her siblings she was the one who was most spoilt from her family. The father of her Gregory was a soldier to the Nigerian Army for quite some period of time. She has played in 7 appearances in the league and had 1,477 rebounds as well as 1,477 points throughout her playing career. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships where she won Gold Medals. On July 7 2014 she was selected to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team.
